FAQs
What happens in a typical appointment?
An appointment will include an assessment ,treatment & rehabilitation. During your assessment we will cover all areas of your injury and relevant past medical history, from here we will make it very clear what we believe your issue might be & how we plan to resolve it (treatment & rehabilitation). Treatment and rehabilitation is engaging, our main aim is having you leave with confidence and reassurance on how to achieve your goals.
After your appointment you will be sent a follow up email containing videos and details of all of your exercises so you are crystal clear on what you should be doing before your next appointment.
How will I feel after my appointment?
Typically you will feel absoloutley fine, and have clarity on what your problem is and how to resolve it!
Occasionally you will feel a little bit sore after your session, particularly if you've moved in a way you haven't for a while! Or if you had some deep tissue work. If that is the case, please don't worry everything should settle down within 48hrs.
If you have any worries please don't hesitate to contact us.
How do online sessions work?
Online sessions follow the exact same structure as in-person appointments.
The only difference is that all treatment is exercise based.
We actually find these appointments to be as, if not more effective than in-person appointments, because it enables you to take ownership of your recovery rather than feeling you 'need' hand-on treatment which is very empowering for you!
Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?
If you have any relevant scans/Doctors letters please email them ahead to rcvryinjuryclinic@gmail.com
